All Air Products liquid hydrogen facilities are running normally and without issues. We continue to serve customers via normal delivery patterns, except as noted below for customers directly impacted by Hurricane Ike.

Hurricane Ike's effect on our Gulf Coast liquid hydrogen system
- Hurricane Ike did not impact our New Orleans liquid hydrogen operations and we continue with normal production there.
- Many customers located in Texas and Louisiana were impacted by the storm. Deliveries to those customers in the affected area were temporarily suspended as the storm made landfall, but were resumed as soon as weather and traffic conditions permitted.

- The second liquefier at New Orleans is now back on-line. The New Orleans liquid hydrogen site is now back to full production.
September 9, 2008
- New Orleans liquid hydrogen plant is back on-line, producing product and beginning to build inventory with one hydrogen liquefier running at full rate. The second hydrogen liquefier is in restart and is expected to come on-line tomorrow, September 10th. We will continue to monitor progress and provide updates.
- We continue to make deliveries per our normal schedule.
- The Sarnia (Canada) and Sacramento, CA plants are also operating at full rates.
September 8, 2008
- Upstream units at New Orleans have been successfully restarted and we are commencing restart of the first hydrogen liquefier.
September 6, 2008
- Air Products has resumed loading liquid hydrogen trailers from New Orleans using liquid hydrogen product in inventory at the plant.
September 5, 2008
- Power was out at our New Orleans plant for several days following Hurricane Gustav, but is now restored and production equipment is being reenergized.
- Drivers, tractors, and trailers are being moved back to New Orleans from outpost locations throughout the South.
- Restarting the plant is a significant effort and will take several days.
