Welding Gas Selector
An interactive computer-based program that recommends the most economical shielding gas for MIG/MAG, TIG, and Plasma welding applications, based on a cost per metre of weld. It promotes the concept of using high-productivity shielding gases, which allow for faster travel speeds and hence lead to reduced welding costs.
Cutting Gas Selector
An interactive computer-based program for cutting that recommends the most economical gas for Oxy-fuel, Plasma, and Laser cutting applications, based on a cost per metre of cut. An interactive cutting fault facility is also included.
Thermal Spraying Gas Selector
An interactive computer-based program that selects the correct material to be sprayed, the appropriate thermal spraying process and recommends the gas(es) for a spraying application entered by the user. A detailed analysis based on a cost per part is carried out and an extensive help facility for HVOF, Flame, Arc and Plasma spraying is included in the program.
